As any pizza aficionado will know, the quality of the ingredients and preparation are what separates a mediocre pizza from an outstanding one.
At Butcher and the Farmer, our house-made pizza dough is made using half type 0 Petra
Unica flour imported from Italy and half type 00 ultra-fine unbleached flour. The two flours combined result in a pizza with perfect chew and the depth of flavour you’d expect from an authentic Italian pizza.
After slow-raising the dough for 48 hours to maximise its flavour, pizzas are cooked in our signature woodfire oven to achieve a melt-in-your-mouth thin base and a delicious pillowy crust.
When it comes to toppings, we like to keep it simple, focusing on quality ingredients like
creamy fior di latte, tomato sugo, pancetta and fresh basil pesto. Toppings complement rather than overwhelm, so you can truly enjoy the flavour of every ingredient.
